I just came up with this idea for a little map game, where someone posts an election map, and then the next poster says who could get a result like that (while also posting a map of their own). The OP doesn't necessarily have to come up with an exact person who the map represents.

Something like this:

1996: Gov. Bill Clinton (D-AR) / Fmr. Gov. Joan Finney (D-KS) defeats Gov. Bill Weld (R-MA) / Sen. Slade Gorton (R-WA).

The incumbent POTUS is George H. W. Bush, who held on in 1992 against Jerry Brown.

In this map, states are colored red or blue based on whether the proportion of their population affiliated with a certain institution(s) is above (Democratic) or below (Republican) the national average.

2020 election: The ticket of Senator Barack Obama and House Minority Leader Stephanie Herseth Sandlin defeats Vice President Marco Rubio and Senator Rob Portman after the unpopular President Mitt Romney finishes his second term.

Evan Bayh/Joe Manchin vs. Rick Scott/Chris Sununu if it's modern, but if it can be from another time period I'd say Bill Clinton/Dick Gephardt vs George Deukmejian/Paul Trible.

The 2016 Election:
Bernie Sanders runs as an independent.
Jon Huntsman Jr. runs as an independent too and splits the Utah vote?
Donald Trump picks Susan Collins or another Maine Republican as VP.

Tim Pawlenty/Chris Sununu vs. Tammy Baldwin/Kyrsten Sinema
