Well, in Michigan, I have heard that the Republicans and Democrats in the State Legislature are both supportive of this measure. I know for a fact that Mark Bishop (Republican Senate Majority Leader) and his Democratic counter-part are supporting it. I also think that Andy Dillon (The Democratic Speaker of the House) is also in support. The GOP State Chairman also supports Jan 15th. I have heard they havent even agreed on a date though, so its all up in the air.
