Sarah Boyack (list MSP for the Lothians, formerly MSP for Edinburgh Central) has announced that she intends to run.

Quite an interesting development. One of the remnants of Dewar's original team she was the only constituency MSP for Labour allowed to stand on the list prior to the rule change which ultimately saved her.

Elaine Murray and Lewis McDonald also stood both in constituencies and list section. McIntosh too had the chance but declined to do so. The logic was  that boundary changes switched their constituency to not Labour held.

Murphy and Findlay will both be on the ballot, Boyack ain't there yet. Findlay getting Left nominations and already a significant amount of TU support.

Sunday update: Boyack still at 7 noms.
For Debuty race, Dugbale has already the requiered number of noms. Clark is at 5 (4 MPs and 1 MSP)
