I have something new to display, because it's just so cool...



I just got this tattoo of "We Are The 99%", an unassailable slogan originated by the Occupy movement. It's an amateur tat, but it's permanent. Most tattoos are. Permanent as can be.

Isn't this cool?

I don't obsess over this tattoo, but a few people have, because it was just so cool. I sort of forgot it was there, until people brang it up yesterday.

This is depressing for a slew of reasons.

But it's cool for many more reasons.

Anyone who, without an ounce of irony, uses the term "99%" is not a genuine leftist*.


*Of course I mean of the more radical variety, left-liberals and soc-dems are safe from this criticism

Given it's permanent nature, does this mean you are admitting defeat?

"We Are The 99%" will always be a relevant slogan - as long as the 1% hoards wealth. If economic inequality is abolished, I'm proud to have this slogan as a lasting sign of my work.
