Considering some of DWS' decisions, this decision fits perfectly.

On MSNBC Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said Schultz will speak at the DNC saying "she desires the opportunity to address the delegates this week as some of her final days as DNC chairwoman, and I know that there are going to be some people that disagree with that decision, but think of the gesture she is making in a nod to party unity today. It is a huge step for her to announce that she is stepping down."  Steve Kornacki seemed dumfounded and asked "does she know what she is walking into?" Fallon said he hoped that "people are mindful" of her leaving at the end of the week... good luck with that.

What a complete f-cking idiot.

That's not going to go well.

When do the delegates officially cast their votes? Is there still chance for a surprising turn of events in light of all this mess that has come up over the last couple of days/

Monday should have votes on the platform and rules, tuesday would be the roll call. In both cases there could always be some kind of shenanigans. On Monday you could look for minority reports submitted or calls for votes to make changes to the platform or rules (there was a brief attempt at this last week the the RNC which failed). Maybe there could be an attempt to add another name besides Kaine into nomination for VP instead of voting by acclimation. And of course there is always the chance of some Bernie delegates staging walkouts or random protests on the floor.

Or none of that will happen and it will run as planned.

So much of this mess could've been avoided had he'd listened.

You can't argue with someone who describes fracking as "violating" Mother Earth.
