I've felt like you deserved to be a Senator ages ago, Alfred. I'm happy to see that you seem to have finally made it there.
Well, if you'd like to get all technical
And speak on occupations previously
Obtained by my poor humble self, I must
Direct you to my previous two-week term
When I was but a babe to all you folks
And did, along with Pingvin, win a seat
In an election similar to this
(Though never so nail-biting have I been,
I must confess, than as I was last night)
And, new to this adventure as I was,
Did squander all my time with muffinry.
I do hope to be better off this time,
And also I must state my deep thank-yous
To all of you who have these strange ideas
Of placing me within my proper place -
Though I must say the Senate is a fine
And wondrous place in which to make my mark.
