I am going through a change in my political viewpoints. I used to be a conservative. But now I am trying to determine whether I am more of a Liberal or a Libertarian. The economic issues are where I am trying to determine where I stand. This is important not only because of my interest in politics, but in the possibility I might try to run for a political office. Feel free to post what you think.

A popular dilemma between conservatives these days - whether they're conservatives or just massive neoliberals.

It was a joke...

I changed my politics around the age of 12. I became much more socially liberal.

I am now more socially liberal too. And I'm sorry for snapping at you.

I think a big wedge issue between liberals and libertarians is whether there should be some way to legally ensure that one has access to health care which they will not be penalized for not having the cash for later.

I used to be a hardcore Rick Santorum-esque neoconservative, but now I'm a right-leaning Neolibertarian/Anarchist/Anarchocapitalist

This is a pretty weird sentence to say. I mean, aren't you supposed to run for office in order to advance your political views ? How can you even consider running for office if you aren't yet sure what do you stand for ? That seriously puzzles me.

Yes, I know plenty of people do just that. I'm just assuming FuturePres is sincere and not some opportunist, power-hungry carreer politician. Because, you know, I like to give people I don't know the benefit of dout.

Also, your pun sucks.

I am sincere. I want the united States economy doing well. I want the deficit spending to stop. I want to make all this happen but too young to be president.
