HOUSE BILL

Be it enacted by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Republic of Atlasia in Congress assembled,

SECTION I: SUBSTANCE

1. Every person employed in the Republic of Atlasia or any territory in which the Republic has jurisdiction shall have the right to a paid day off in the month of his or her birthday, effective upon the passage of this legislation.

2. Persons not wishing to take a paid day off on their birthday shall be compensated one and a half times their regular hourly rate if they choose to work on their birthday, effective upon the passage of this legislation.

Passed in the House of Representatives 7-0-0-2

This is a rather straightforward bill that allows workers time off for the birthday...I don't see any reason to oppose this.

Technically do you can do whatever you want in the Senate, as long as no one objects. Wink

The process for waiving the rules is the same as amendment passage, 24 hours for objections.

That said, some things it does become a little chaotic especially for instance if someone randomly starts a vote and then doesn't PM/DM anyway about it like I do whenever I do an update.
