People would probably question why don't live together. Besides, Elizabeth Dole was given Hell for not actually living in North Carolina while Senator from North Carolina. The whole different states thing makes it rather difficult, overall. If you wanted immediate family on the same ticket, since people naturally move around, parent and child or siblings might work better.
