Yah definitely think he’s a better choice to oversee this than Pete due to New Orleans being a bigger city than South Bend .

Not to mention a large city that desperately wants to be underwater, and occasionally succeeds.  Infrastructure is kind of a big deal there.

It's a smart move that promotes a major talent within the party. He was a well-regarded mayor in a city that is tough to manage, and he had to deal with the aftermath of its greatest tragedy in over a century.
