Lifetime:

Red: spent the night in
Green: did not spend night in

2022:

For 2022, Maricopa, AZ and then almost everything east of Salt Lake County, UT was new. I had been to Denver and a couple counties around it though.

Added the rest of SoCal and parts of NorCal. I have been to every county in CA in the last two years. Not looking to hit them all in one year… at least not next year. Riverside should be red on the lifetime map, but I’m too lazy to reupload it.

I finished the year with a 10 day trip to TX and back. I rung in the year in Maricopa AZ and I'll ring it out in Middlesex MA. For the year I visited 702 counties, 201 for the first time.

Red and magenta are counties first visited in 2022. Blue and green are counties visited in a prior year as well as 2022. Red and blue counties were slept in overnight during 2022. Yellow counties were previously visited, but airport only in 2022.

I might have Muon beat this year. I'm driving across the country starting in a day or two, so I won't have a final map until the 31st.

Bolded counties are ones I visited for the first time this year. I'll hopefully be adding Richmond NY (and maybe Westchester NY and Fairfield CT) shortly; I'll certainly be adding San Diego, CA this fall.

Added San Diego and Richmond as predicted; also gained Denver, CO and St. Louis County, MO due to layovers and Johnston, Wayne, Harnett and Cumberland, NC.

Added Sampson, Duplin, Pender, Brunswick, New Hanover, and Columbus, all in NC. I've been to all the other ones before, but Columbus is new.
