In a primary against President Trump, probably not due to the incumbency factor, though it would be closer then usual. In a open primary - Maybe however the Social Conservative vote would need to be split and you would probably have to pander to Social Conservatives.

Rubio nearly won Virginia, the state was tailor-made for him. Trump's narrow victory was a shock. Try again.
