art is a revolutionary action.  conservatism is reaction to preserve the status quo.

or maybe not technically a logical fallacy but in the same vein

It's conservative - it conformed to existing belief, the status quo, it wasn't revolutionary. Either art isn't exclusively revolutionary or the roof of the Sistine Chapel isn't artwork.
