We all like to think that we have no "brand loyalty," but if you really look at what you consume you will eventually notice there are some brands you really do have an affinity for. Let's hear what brands that would be for you...

I only have negative brand loyalty. While I usually drink Coke I'm not totally against no-brand replacements, but I don't drink Pepsi.
I don't touch Müller products, ever (and they're all over German supermarkets).

Amen. I went to CVS the other day and Coke packs were 2 for $5 and Pepsis were $5. I bought the Pepsi Smiley. Pepsi Max is my favorite.

I don't have much brand loyalty... except to local products.  I always buy Blackstar Dairy milk (which is not homogenized so you have to shake it, lest the cream rise)... produced in Solway, about 10 miles away.  I also buy Roma Kawa coffee, which is roasted in Bagley, about 20 miles away.

Buying dairy products and most basic food staples fairly locally is quite easy as MN is a big dairy/ag state... so Gold Medal and Dakota Maid flour are always the choice for us.  I also enjoy local/state beers/ciders/wines and locally produced jams/jelly.

As for as non-foodstuffs, I'd say I usually look for generic alternatives when possible.  There's no reason to buy Tylenol, for example, when you can get the store label for much cheaper.

On electronics, I choose Apple products and try to stick to Sony or other well-established brands...

Kitchen appliances, electronics, and similar categories are a strong example of "you get what you pay for."  The same applies to clothes to some extent (Target, for example, carries decent clothes for being so low cost).

I also favour Canadian products where I can, and, disfavour products that have been of poor quality in the past.

They just opened up a Wegmans in Northborough, a 45-minute drive away. And I still go there, because the store is fantastic. I make similar pilgrimages to Ikea. They're the Lego of adult furniture.

Coke, obviously - Pepsi is disgusting (actually its only slightly worse, but it is irritating when you have to drink it because a restaurant doesn't have Coke).

I also definitely seek out certain clothing brands, but only in second hand shops, so that hardly counts does it?  Things like Haggar, Jos.Bank, Brooks Brothers, Van Heusen, Arrow, Gant.. a few others not coming to mind right now.

No one says "Tims" or "Tim Ho's" in real (ie. rural) Canada. Just Timmies. And that place sucks. Come on.

Coca-cola.  Well, I don't often drink soda, but when I do it's coca-cola.  Don't care for Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, or the rest.  If I order a coca-cola and the waiter says "would pepsi be alright?" I say, "no thanks, just make it coffee."

For processors, I have a strong preference for Intel over AMD.  Beyond that I'm not particular.  For cars, pizza, canned soup, underwear, etc., I don't have loyalty to any particular brand.

Hm. I guess McDonald's. When it comes to fast food I usually go for them. It's not particularly strong though - I fell in love with Super Mac's or whatever it's called on Ireland when I went there.

Beyond that, nah. I don't really shop much.
