I have fixed costs that dont vary wherever I live, so LA might allow me to make a salary (though other costs could be an issue, it is LA after all) where I could pay those costs faster.  But honestly, in their absence, I'd rather be in Minneapolis...would rather be in the Bos-Wash over everything else.
