Herbert Hoover practiced protection...protectionism..."

Herbert Hoover, safe-sex activist.

"Obama's tax increases will raise taxes."

Is McCain losing it?

Thanks to Bush screwing up everything else, Social Security is actually the most fiscally sound part of the entire federal budget.

So, people: is Obama going to win the election by the Clinton-Dole margin?

Obama is not answering the question.

...and McCain does, yet the audience has already decided to not like him much.

Obama hit it out of the park.

Again, WTF John McCain?

"I'll answer the question...heh...heh...heh...heh...heh..."

I have honestly never seen him this bad on television.  Ever.  His convention speech was good, his Rick Warren was all right, his first debate performance was passable...why's McCain giving his B game tonight?

The problem is jackasses who get $45,000 in social security when they have a job that they get paid to not show up to.

McCain has a huge grin, "Haha, I have health insurance, screw those poor people".

 Real objective.

Although he did say "My friends" again, McCain almost seems to have woken up. He suddenly seems to have a great deal more energy. What he's saying isn't going over with the CNN dial that well, though.

i agree with McCain...nuclear has to be part of our energy future....but that doesn't sell well. People would prefer an oil rig in their front yard more than a nuclear plant down the road

Please pay no attention to Chernoyble or Three Mile Island.

We weren't responsible for Chernoyble since we know what we're doing and nothing happened with Three Mile Island. Your point? Nothing.

But but but, McCain is suddenly pro-alternative fuels and pro-environment now that he's got Palin on board.

That "you know who voted for it? that one" was really bizzare and sort of creepy.
