I think she's the most underrated FLOTUS since Pat Nixon. Total FF.

FF, just like every First Lady post-Hoover(I don't know much about the ones of Hoover and before) except Hillary Clinton.

I don't like her as much as Betty Ford, though.

Eleanor Roosevelt's contributions to her country extend far beyond the legislative heyday of the New Deal, so I would politely disagree. She was objectively the greatest first lady we have ever had and arguably the most impactful woman to represent the United States on the world stage. Laura Bush was a fine first lady, but there is no comparison between the two.

As a FLOTUS, she's meh like every other one not named Hillary (who was genuinely good) or Nancy (who was somehow even more repulsive than The People's Park Butcher himself).

But as a person, she seems nice and genuine enough. So, FF

She was fitting for the times- quietly solemn and supportive of others.  She was a break from the activist kinds of First Ladies, but still maintained a visible presence.  She was the best thing about the entire Bush administration.

Not bad as FLOTUS and a good person. FF.

(I even like her husband as a person, although he was a poor president).

First off, I'm new here, so if someone could inform me what "FF" and "HP" means that'd be great.

As for my opinion, she seems like a genuinely good and kind person. As for her time as First Lady, I would say she was better than her mother in law and Nancy Reagan, but not as good as Michele Obama or Hillary Clinton (though I think Laura Bush is more likeable than Hillary is).

Definitely in the top 3 of First Ladies for me. She always came across as a warm and genuine person.
