For the sake of the question, assume no Cuomo running as a spoiler.

Probably Hochul by a small amount. She at least has credible primary competition and has a credible nominee in the general. I know it’s New York but Zeldin prob has a small shot to win (like 10%).

DeSantis is a lock to make the general and is above water in a right leaning state in a good environment for republicans. If Hochul had no one credible in the primary than I would say Ron. So it’s def close.

Obviously DeathSantis, but the fact that this is even a question and nearly 30% of poll respondants think he isn't is worrying.

This isn't as clear as people will make it out to be.

FL: R+8 state in 2020
NY: D+19 state in 2020

It only takes an R+6 environment for those to equal out, hypothetically.

DeSantis by default, but neither will lose or come close to losing.

I anticipate that neither one will lose but Hochul will have a tougher time in the primary

DeSantis, but I suspect both are going to win.
