I'm finding it a bit far fetched of an analogy, but you're obviously entitled to your impression.

Of of SYRIZA and it's supporters being vocal in their support, so what? Some people I can't stand politically (namely one Polish party that despite appearances does nothing but political trolling damaging the entire left wing) are pretty vocal in their support. And I'm pretty sure a lot of people who voice their support for other candidates are at least annoying.
