Mitt won 31% of the Democratic vote but only 26% of the Independents. Democrats for Mitt comes out in force!

Giuliani's plan was to put no effort into the first 5 primaries, so you can't really tell anything about his 'support' from the anemic numbers you get here or anywhere else but Florida.

That said, I think an unintended down side of his plan was that 5 primaries where he doesn't place above fifth will probably make it harder to motivate his supporters in Florida. And if he can't get them there . . .

I dislike Mitt Romney more than ever. He doesn't even wait for McCain to finish the first sentence of his speech before he begins his. I guess Michigan Republicans really want to loose the presidency in 2008.

but if Romney's the nominee, for sure I will be voting Democrat

I won't vote for the Democrat but I really, really, really don't want to vote for this joke. I'd love to say "I just won't vote" but not voting for President (and my first Presidential election no less) probably isn't an option.

Yeah, because your candidate is a joke. He's a complete fraud and an embarrassment to this party.

Mitt probably didn't have a camera inside McCain's headquarters, so he didn't know McCain was speaking when he got up there, or I'm sure he would have been kind enough to wait.

Romney's opened a surprisingly large lead against McCain, ten points right now, and he's hit 40%.

Romney's victory speech was inspiring, not only for his supporters and Republicans, but for the nation.

It doesn't matter who wins the GOP nod in my opinion, because I'm commited to voting for the Democratic nominee either Clinton, Obama, or Edwards.

Mr. "I don't want to go back to Reagan-Bush" quotes Reagan and Bush in the same sentence, rubbing it right in our faces. This party better send this guy a message real soon. He needs to be destroyed in the rest of the races.

Back down to 39%...

For a state where his father was the governor and the family is held in high esteem...Romney should be holding a large lead..just to meet expectations

9 points is a large lead. Besides Clinton just now it's the largest lead any candidate has had in the voting this primary season.

I noticed that.  BTW, he meant Reagan and George W. Bush (according to Ari Fleischer)

Romney didn't just beat McCain. It looks like he is headed towards lanslide territory. This could shake up the race in a fairly big way.

Not suprising, Romney is the most likely to be a third term of Bush.

It certainly has been a fair election.

Clinton supporters have had a crappy night of feeling bad.
Obama supporters have had a crappy night of feeling bad.
Romney supporters have had a crappy night of feeling bad.
McCain supporters have had a crappy night of feeling bad.

Huckabee's people must suffer. Perhaps in SC?

Romney won liberals 31-28.  I don't understand.

However, McCain won Democrats by a fairly large margin.

You know whats really funny?

Because the Democratic party basically turned michigan into a Beauty Contest, and decided to move onto Nevada right away, Romney's win may not be as momentum building as he'd hope...Huckabee and McCain got a whole night of reporting about their win, Romney...thus far (on at least one network) just gets the bottom of the screen...
