Firstly, is Carson being underestimated?
Secondly, it's hilarious that in the head to head matchups Trump beats all but Cruz and Carson by 13+ points. According to 538, those plus Trump are the non-establishment tea partiers.

I wouldn't call Trump a tea party candidate, if anything he gets his own circle.  'Right wing populist' intersecting with the Tea Party and Christian Conservative circles.

But yeah, Cruz and Carson are proving that you have to fight fire with fire.  In order to stop an extremist, you need an extremist.

They're proving the exact opposite of that.  They're the only ones not criticizing Donald Trump.  Everyone else is blasting Trump while Cruz and Carson are riding the same wave that Trump is riding.
You misunderstood, that's exactly what I'm saying.  In order to stop Trump, it seems like you need someone else who's anti-establishment.
