Why is the media so hard on poor Scotty? Sad Why can't they just pay attention to the fact that he won three times in four years instead? I'm worried that people will forget about that...

Well, at least he didn't have to move to Texas to win an election...

Of course not, he only had to run in the right year(s). Wink

You've got to love how deranged Walker makes these people, It makes tea party rants about Obama seem sensible

Invalid argument. People who criticize Walker actually have something of substance to say about what he has done to unions and education in Wisconsin, as well as the fact that Wisconsin's unemployment rate is still quite high compared to other states. Tea partiers hate Obama because he's bla... I mean, a nazicommusocialist Muslim who was born in Kenya.

Tell that to the people who protested his parents, threatened to kill his family, and accused him of trying to promote campus rape, and even got the DNC and the Clinton brigade to help them in their spectacular fail of a recall campaign, there's something about him because he's doing what had been done by other governors in other states that give people an irrational hatred of him, news sources have in the last two weeks had to retract hit pieces on him because they were so false they couldn't defend them, and let's not forget the "john doe scandal" that has less to it than Benghazi.

Some people definitely go way too far with their Walker hate; I'm not condoning that in any way. However, that's part of being a prominent figure of any kind. I doubt Walker has gotten 1/1000th of the death threats Obama has gotten. Some governors may have taken actions to hinder unions, but name one who has utterly crippled them in the way that Walker has. Brownback has done even more to damage education in Kansas than Walker has in Wisconsin, but Kansas is a much more Republican leaning state, so Brownback can get away with it more easily (not that he should.) If Walker were representing a red state like Kansas, he'd probably get much less flack for what he's done. The fact of the matter is, though, he represents a Democratic-leaning state, and has governed as a staunch conservative. While he was still able to win multiple times in a favorable atmosphere, that doesn't mean that he's not going to continue to face a lot of resistance.

Case in point, he does get a lot of hate from liberals. Minus the death threats and protesters showing up at his parents' house, he deserves it.

Walker never banned people from unionizing though. Its a personal choice basically in Wisconsin to join a union.

Tea Partiers hate Obama because he is Black? How come Tim Scott was endorsed by The Tea Party over White Republican candidates in his first run for Congress for his former House Seat then in SC of all places? Sure there are racists around in the Tea Party but there is always "oddballs" if you will in every movement. I'm not a Tea Party person because they don't know how to Govern but painting Tea Party as entirely racist that's going out a little too far.

I love how any accusation of racism within the Tea Party is responded to with "Tim Scott!" Sure, not every tea partier is racist, but would people really be accusing Obama of being Muslim and born in Kenya if he were white? (100% white, I mean.) Probably not.

Just using the example of Tim Scott not trying to copy anybody else.

I don't think a majority of Republicans think Obama is from Kenya and a Muslim maybe some Republicans think that but not a majority.  Yes you are right if Obama was 100% white no they wouldn't be accusing of Obama of being a Muslim or being from Kenya.

Right, that's why I specifically said tea partiers, especially those at rallies. I know most Republicans have other reasons for disliking Obama.
