I know that the subject seems a memory from the Progressive Era, but the unpopularity of monopolies and trusts persists. There are also trusts, oligopolies and other forms of imperfect competition. I know that new legislation on the issue would hurt them in funding and lobbying, but it would help them to get more votes. It's not like Big Business is particullary popular with the MAGA crowd. Also, it would increase progressive tuŕnout.
