Not a surprise. This oxygen thief is one of the most unhinged nutjobs in Congress.

And, in a sign that he has perhaps been reading this forum, he pronounced the Great Replacement Theory real.

The KKK would strongly disagree with that statement

Someday he'll lose. He's the new Scott Garrett-way too far right for his district.

Republican politicians legitimately don't live in the same reality that normal people live in. They are dragging more and more people into the unreality with them, too.

Someone should tell him it's not the 1870s anymore.

That is accurate for the South in the 1870s and in some places in the 1920s.

Are we sure Perry didn’t go through a time warp and is actually a congressman from 1880?

1880 is too progressive for the American Taliban.

I'm glad Scott Perry is finally reading a US History book! The 1870s are a pretty interesting and overlooked time. Going to be interesting to see his reaction to Credit Mobilier, probably on the next page. Can't wait for "The Republican Party is bought and sold by cash bribes from the Union Pacific Railroad" message. Keep reading, man! Smiley

It's an internal, but it does show Perry underperforming Trump.

Do Republicans actually think that the "Democrats are the party of slavery and the KKK" convinces anyone, or do they just think it'll annoy liberals?

Before that, I was watching a documentary on Jim Crow and racism in the South.

They showed a speech from a KKK leader in the 1940s or 1950s, and it sounded exactly like Republican rhetoric today. He was ranting about crime in big liberal cities like NYC, Chicago, and LA. Railing against the "tyrannical" federal government in DC and disparaging White liberals from the North, etc. Of course, with the added racist statements about Black people.

Democrats hate white people, but also prop up organizations declaring their racial supremacy.

Makes sense to me!
