Roy Moore is not running for Governor, so it's completely Safe R.

Just like LA-Gov was safe R and MD-Gov was safe D!

Well, Republicans had extremely big scandal in LA (and would win with any candidate, but Vitter), and Democrats had both atrocious candidate AND atrocious turnout in MD. I don't see such things in Alabama now, so it's still closer to Safe-R for me now, but - anything may change..

Richard Lindsey, Walter Maddox, and Craig Ford would all be strong candidates.

And still - woild be underdogs under more or less "normal" circumstances...
