Damar, the other day, Perez said something along the lines of "Every Democrat should be in favor of a woman's right to choose. This is nonnegotiable." The fact that Pelosi's not echoing that line is notable.
I'm pretty certain that you're pulling something out of context here.
Most likely Pérez was referring to prominent Democratic office holders, while Pelosi is talking about voters. Obviously perez is happy to have votes from anti-abortion rights people.
