Believe it or not, even the DC Republicans are pro-statehood. The national Republicans obviously don't give a sh*t, though.

The national GOP could work to champion statehood as a starting point to make some inroads here, but of course they’ll refuse and it’s probably too late for this anyway as Dems have already beaten them to the punch on this issue.
