Among red/Atlas blue states, Kentucky and Montana.

58% Of kentucky and 52% of montana approved of the decision to go to iraq.


And Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, the Pacific Northwest to some extent and that is only to name a few in the west too.

68% Of Idaho, 69% of montana, 70% of Utah, approved of the decision to go to iraq back in 2004


In contrast in Washington state it was 46%, 45% In Oregon and 46% in California. And 37% in Vermont.



One election result /=/ non interventionist. The mountain west has historically been non interventionist or at least against wars. They voted by such heavy margins for Bush not due to a war or whatever (and the percentage Bush got in those states were not approval of the Iraq War only but an approval and Bush) other nonsense but because Bush was a republican and Kerry was a horrible Democrat to them and these are uber republican states. Also
