I think the biggest thing about this was Obama's continual misrepresentation of what he originally said.  I do think it was sort of what he meant to say, but he needs to fess up and admit he was talking through his butt.  Not to be crude.

Otherwise, we've learned that Clinton and Obama are deep believers in God, faith, and the American people.  And we delved into such advanced philosophical questions like "why does God do good things to bad people?" with such advanced answers as "I don't know, but I ask myself that every day!"

Political debates are pretty low-level, but philosophical discussions about religion done by politicians are even lower-level.  Unsurprisingly disappointing.

That was actually asked.  Seriously.

Yeah, I watched the whole thing.  I don't think either of them really won, but...uh....just what the hell was with some of those questions??

It's like they wanted to avoid awkwardness, so they went with a mix of inoffensive questions and incredibly predictable ones.  It was pleasantly touchy-feely for the most part, though.  It was nice to see members of all religions get together and tolerate each other long enough to talk about meaningless fluff.

At the beginning of Obama's segment somewhere, he said he was "a devout Mus...Christian"

I chuckled.
