Remember back in 2002, when Sir Alex was poised to finally step down as manager? George Burley, then manager of Ipswich Town was rumoured to be Manchester United's number one target. How the times have changed! I didn't even know he was still managing, albeit Scotland.

If anybody is to replace Sir Alex, whenever he does decide to step down I'd dare say it would be the incumbent manager of Ipswich Town Roy Keane, regardless of the handling of his resignation at Sunderland. If Glasgow Celtic were after him, I'd dare say Manchester United would be after him too (was that the worst analogy I could have possibly made?).
