According to the big French paper's website 'Le Figaro', those ships are aimed to patrol along the Iranian coasts.

It also says that Iranian Marine of the Guards are being on alert and are deploying their surveillance in the Persian Gulf.

No matter in which of the both gulfes the warships will finish it apparently could be here to counter an Iranian initiative to send a 'humanitarian ship' to Gaza, about which the last news would be that ones:

An other article also speaks about 3 Israeli submarines presumably already in the Persian Gulf, that article focuses more on the possibility of strikes against nuclear sites of Iran, and goes further along the scenario, even if it's kinda on a 'yeah war is going on tone', well it can be worth reading for what it's worth I guess:

'Humanitarian' ships or the nuclear program, the tightening around Iran and the possibilities of conflict would grow, certainly now belonging to Iran's will to go further through provocation in both of these cases.
