Matt Bevin won....Jack Conway should be happy about that

Why? Wouldn't Conway prefer the guy who literally beat his college girlfriend?

This forum is insane.

Yeah.  Bevin also comes across as quite reasonable in his ads.  His only controversial position is dismantling KYnect, which will likely be Conway's big selling point.  But still, that weakness is a whole lot less than Comer's crimes.

There's no way Kentucky will care about that issue and it seems to have helped him in the primary. Heiner took the heat for it.

As someone who hasn't looked into it (except for the press conference where he described the dynamics of a State FFA officer team which was esoterically hysterical), I view the claims as unsubstantiated mudslinging by the Heiner campaign. Sure, it's possible (and perhaps likely) they're true, but I have no way of knowing so I would support the otherwise sane man if I'm a middle-information KY swing voter. Bevin probably scares me more making me go Conservadem.

Also, it's hard to match Conway's statesman like appearance, but at least Comer can occasionally pull it off.

Comer's roommates corroborated the story.

Ok, so it's almost certainly true. He's likely a horrible narcissist. Worse than most politicians. I don't think it's going to affect his electability. It's Kentucky.

OK, come on.  Kentucky's hardly the best state in the Union, but I am pretty dang confident most Kentuckians think beating your wife is wrong (especially considering half the electorate is female Tongue ).

Heiner was probably the most electable, followed by Bevin, and Comer way at the end.  KY is too Democratic at the statewide level for Comer to have a plausible pathway to the governorship.
