Protestant Grand Council

By order of His Majesty, as Supreme Governor of the Church of England, in his duty as on consultation with the Bishops of the Church of England, we call for a grand council of all Protestant Churches. We invite Anglicans, Lutherans, Calvinists, Huguenots, Presbyterians, dissenters, Hussite Churches, Waldensians, and all others who stand in the grand tradition of the Protestant Faith, to attend an ecumenical Council in England to strive for the unity of the whole Church, and urge all to attend forthwith. It is time for the Protestant faith to stand united, under one banner.

A Proclamation from His Majesty Regarding Certain Prisoners

In our review of certain prisoners and imprisonment, we have found it undesirable, unnecessary, and untenable to hold under our name these certain ministers of God, lately called nonconformists for their rejection of the Savoy Conference. Chiefly, Margaret Fell is recognized as a speaker for those called Quakers and is not to be arrested for her activities as a Quaker, nor is her husband, George Fox, to be intimated or arrested by any men of law for ministering; John Bunyan is to be released forthwith and similarly shall not be arrested on these charges again. They are granted a pardon and a royal indulgence as ministers, so that they may not be brought to court on charges like this again.

The Kingdom of England orders these ridiculous demands to be returned at once. They are antithetical to the welfare of our prestigious merchants and world-renowned sailors. We similarly advise the Safavids to withdraw these demands, as any enforcement of them may be taken as an act of war via violence against protected citizens of England.

A Royal Proclamation

In recognition of his services rendered unto the Crown, his Royal Descent directly, if illegitimately, from Henry II, through John of Gaunt’s son John Beaufort, and thus distant Kin of the King, Henry, Lord Herbert and Somerset, is made the first Duke of Beaufort. This by order of His Royal Majesty, Charles II.

The Royal Charter Regarding the Establishment of a Central Bank

A Royal Bank of the Isles shall immediately be established to print and distribute banknotes and all currency under the British sovereign.

Dudley North shall serve as Governor. A Board of Bank Supervisors, including the Duke of Beaufort, Sir Francis Child, Josiah Child, John Locke, and Sir James Steuart of Coltness, shall serve as oversight, and the House of Commons and the House of Lords shall elect four more members each to join the Board of the Bank Supervisors, but no Supervisor alone shall be able to influence the duties and actions of the Bank, and all shall serve at the pleasure of those members of Parliament who appointed them and His Royal Majesty.
