Having lost by an incredible land-slide four years ago, the Republicans have finally assembled a diverse, experienced, and talented field to attempt to regain momentum for "The Party of Adams, Seward, and Lincoln". Among the choices are runner-up William McKinley, who has so far waged a populist campaign at state conventions against "the party bosses" who brought about the nomination of Harrison four years ago. The others are mainly establishment-supported, though Allison has pro-silver leanings.

None of these other candidates are good, so McKinley.

Reed is by far the best choice. Pro-civil rights, tried to head off war with Spain, and made necessary changes to House rules.

I fail to see how any of these candidates will draw the left back into the Republican fold. I choose Reed to be the sacrificial lamb.

And Garret Hobart seems a little underqualified for the VP slot, being no more than a State Senate President. I nominate William Allison, but if you want to limit it to people who were actually received voted for VP at the convention, then I nominate Morgan Bulkeley.
