So now we know what happened to Nick Begich (father of the current Senator).  Begich had one last laugh from wherever his body ended up, he beat Don Young by 12 points in 1972, despite Nixon's landslide. However, Don Young was able to beat any alive Democrats.

Let's face it: Democrats must run a dead guy to get rid off Young.

You'd have to keep running a dead guy in special election after special election to keep the seat vacant.

If he murders his opponent, Young doesn't have a good record of defeating dead candidates.
