I know some of the people who protested McInnis. Definitely not alt-right. I could buy that they are CIA plants though. I don't think we need anymore definitive proof that the regressive left has taken over the activists. 50 years ago, Berkeley was the founding of the free speech movement. In half a century, they went full in the opposite direction.

I think UC Berkeley should now be given a choice. Either use whatever force necessary to break up the threatening mob so that the talk can go ahead. Or if they fail to carry out their duties they should be cut off from Federal funding and sued into bankruptcy. If those are the options its given then its a win-win either way.

He'd save more money if he just shut every campus down. I know for much of the hard sciences students need to be physically present in the lab or in the field but for the rest of the subjects we've got the internet now. I'm sure it would be much cheaper for students to just learn everything online. Shut down the campuses, restructure Federal funding of Universities and along with it the entire university system. save a shedload of Federal funds.

Its 2017 already. Why do we still have this ancient and out of date University system.
