Quote
Fleetwood Mac co-founder and influential blues rock guitarist Peter Green has died at the age of 73, his family's legal representatives confirmed on Saturday.

"It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Green announce his death this weekend, peacefully in his sleep," said Swan Turton solicitors in a statement. The firm added that a further statement will be given in the coming days.

Green was the writer for Fleetwood Mac hits, Black Magic Woman, Albatross, Oh Well, Man of the World and The Green Manalishi.

My Instagram is going nuts because he has a famous guitar named after him.

The guy from Metallica now owns it.

Damn. Just damn. One of the greatest blues-rock guitarists of all times. The tone he derived from that Les Paul is absolutely breathtaking. Granted, it's being played for a different genre now, but I love the fact that the "Greeny" Les Paul is still being played in front of thousands rather than rotting in some rich guy's glass display case.

And though this jam may have ended, the great jam in the sky never ends. RIP.

I misread “guitarist” and thought this thread was about Giuliani.
