The NRSC poll from yesterday doesn't look off compared to this.

I'd also add that individual members of Congress are seen as expendable in a way that the presidency is not.  Not just by party elites, but by at least a certain segment of the electorate.  At least some voters can throw a candidate for a Senate seat under the bus in a way that they never could for a presidential candidate.


Also should note that Jones has almost complete control of the airwaves right now in Alabama.
