I think the Republicans' best hope is Rob Simmons. McMahon left a bad taste in many CT voters' mouths, Boughton is poorly known outside Danbury, Frantz is not known at all, and Fedele couldn't even win the primary for Governor last year as the incumbent Lieutenant Governor under Jodi Rell. McMahon will most likely blow another wad of cash winning the primary and losing the General. Of Bysiewicz and Murphy, Bysiewicz is seen as the more liberal, so Murphy has been running ads all over the place emblazoned with his smiling face and the word "Progressive" (total BS). Murphy is from Cheshire, which is a town that Democrats have struggled in recently. If Murphy wins the election, he could be a serious VP candidate in 2016, depending upon the circumstances.

Chris Murphy is better than Susan no matter what we're discussing, be it ideology, electability, personality, competence, or anything else. I'm not voting for Bysiewicz for any office ever again.

Also good to see Malloy with terrible approvals. His budget is offensive to any true progressive voter in Connecticut.

Glad Murphy is leading by that huge margins, and I think he won't have to fight a lot for the nomination. Bysewicz will implode.

Murphy's lead is within the margin of error...

I think he meant "huge margins" over the prospective Republican candidates.
