From that, at least, you would think that a Labour Archduke would just find another Labour candidate to run in the special. It is still to Labour's advantage that an empty body gets in the Althing, since in the case of a special election there will only be one designated Labour candidate. No risk for vote-splitting in that case.

I can't wait for another election either, so I'd perfectly understand him if that was the case
