I don't know if he'll drop out just yet, but it is starting to look as though Thompson is starting to give up on winning. Maybe he's just in it to play spoiler and wreak havoc.

Probably realizes that 1) he's cooked, 2) his buddy John McCain is getting hurt in florida because of Rudy and needs a boost, 3) dropping out and endorsing John couldn't come at a better time.
