No resuts in so far (at 7.39pm Dhakka time) but we have seen the basics of the campaign

The current PM is calling for the government to remain in place to see Bangladesh through the economic crisis, whilst the opposition leader is calling for Bangladesh to follow the United States and change for the future.

Crooks win all seats in National Assembly. All parties are either crooks or awful parties.

Indeed. My uncle expressed surprise at the drubbing the Jamaat got.

And the coverage was all in Bengali that I saw.

Was there a re-districting since 2001? (Probably not, but I might make some maps, so I want to know).

Ershad wants to be President, apparently. He's termed out, but that's no big deal.

BNP alleges fraud. Also no big deal.

Jamaat got exactly what it deserved. Actually the murderers should be put on trial imo.
