Cummings's district has median income and college education levels that are above the national average.

poverty is also above the national average.

Just in case anyone was wondering what informed Mr. Trump's attack on Rep. Cummings:

Fox News is literally the top advisor to the American president. The amount of influence Carlson, Hannity and Pirro have over the entire planet is mind-blowing. I remember thinking Cheney had too much sway over Dubya. This is so much worse.

Have we see Mr. Trump screaming that he was "exonerated" by a "witch hunt" so directly before? (Although really, I don't suppose it's very different from how he "won" a "rigged" election, is it?)

I know I keep harping on this, but Trump's screed against Cummings basically further disproved the rhetoric about him making racial attacks on politicians as a means of forcing the Democratic Party to associate with its most ostensibly controversial members, like the Squad. What do Democrats lose by being "forced" to defend Cummings, one of their most mainstream and uncontroversial members? Trump has no strategy with this, it's just pure insecurity and venom.

Whenever I click the "new" button on this thread, it does not bring me to the first post I haven't seen. Rather it brings to an earlier post (always to a post with an embedded tweet) that is sometimes from more than a week ago, and that I have seen multiple times since "new" keeps bringing me to it. Does this happen to anyone else??

It’s because tweets and images take longer to load. After the page loads, of you go to the address bar and press enter, it will go to the right post.

You know what would be better? A Non-Crazy Trump Tweets Megathread. Because we need to start from the assumption that most everything he tweets is crazy, and anything that is not is extraordinary and deserves its own thread.

Where is the "new" button? Could I have a screenshot? It doesn't appear on my computer.

Donald Trump prevented the Second Great Depression:

The economy would be in a very similar position if Clinton was President. Economies don't change entirely because of the person in the Oval Office...Why am I even bothering to debunk this man's constant delusions? I should have learned by now.

The economy would be in a very similar position if Clinton was President.

I wonder whether Republicans would openly admit that in that scenario, they would still be screaming murder and Benghazi, and completely overlook the economy?

Thank you, I see it now. The little blue button.

Mr. Trump has shown himself such a delusional idiot that it's hard to tell if he's lying or stupid here. (My money is on lying because he's stupid - he's been told that's not how tariffs work, but doesn't believe it,  because "he's smarter".)

I'm not going to lie, this might be his best and most creative tweet ever. Seriously, it makes me wonder if he even wrote it. I guess one out of every 87,239,675 are going to be that way.

It's a paradox, isn't it? The delivery of the tweet is too complex for me to believe Trump wrote it, but the underlying idea for the tweet is too dumb for me to believe anyone else did.

Nothing establishes that you're sane and honest better than screaming that your critics are insane and shouting your catchphrase.
