Shortly after Grandpa Boozer died, Ted III said he'll run for the Senate himself in 2044 or some other time before then -- ironically enough that wouldn't even be grandpa's seat! Will he keep true to his word, or is he bluffing?

Lol

But a more reasonable speculation would be - does Joe III run when one of Warren or Markey retires? I'd say yes.

I see that happening. Markey will probably retire in 2020. If not, he'll run for Warrens seat in 2024. He'd instantly win the nomination and thus the election

Boston Globe said last year Kennedy wants to stay in the House for a while. So Moulton would seemingly have first dibs on an open seat.

I'm sure he'll grow up to be a fine swimmer.
