My hunch is to vote "other." Trump is possible (hard to see someone else winning the GOP nomination in 2024 if he runs), but if Biden wins in 2024, then the winner of the 2028 election could easily be someone not on anyone's radar.

If I knew with certainty that the 47th president would take over on Jan. 20th, 2025, then I'd say Trump.  But I voted Harris, because she could either take over following the 2024 election, the 2028 election, or at some indeterminate time during Biden's 1st (or hypothetical 2nd) term, following Biden's death or resignation.  So I think Harris gets the edge, given those extra potential opportunities.

Well probably Glenn Youngkin,  if Trump doesn't run or win & Biden manages to secure another term. If its Harris is the nominee for the Democrats in 2028, then Youngkin has a strong advantage against Harris, who will be like an old shoe, and will be identified as another California liberal, and will be viewed as Hillary 2.0 and as equally disliked! Youngkin won't be tarnished with the toxicity of say Hawley, Cruz or even Trump! But that's in an ideal world! I can, as current conditions suggest, that Trump will probably win in 2024.

If Biden dies before his term expires, Harris.  Otherwise, Trump is more likely than anyone else.  Actually, Trump is probably more likely than any other individual, even when taking into account the possibility of Biden dying in office.

Harris. I'm not saying Biden dying, resigning, or getting impeached is likely, but they're possibilities that are likelier than they usually are, especially if he runs for and wins a second term.

That first one alone might be enough to give Trump the win. It won't happen but imagine if they just let the Democrats pass all the voting rights legislations they wanted, and they still lose because they're doing a lousier job than even Trump.

I can see Youngkin getting it if DeSantis loses to Harris somehow and the Republicans finally reverting back to 2000-level behavior.

Trump and Harris are the only ones with non-neglible odds - Trump is the prohibitive favorite to be the next Republican party nominee and a general between him and Biden is at worst a toss up. Harris will never win a national election on her own but Biden could die. If Biden doesn't lose reelection or die in office, our next president would most likely be someone who seems pretty random right now and isn't on anyone's radar.
