I'm not a resident of the Pacific, but I am transgender so I have some knowledge of this issue Tongue

Using "transsexuality" as a term is not great, imo, because there are some disputes as to what exactly that means. The most commonly used term is "gender identity or expression", I believe.

I'm sorry for this unpleasant and horrible question but it seems to me that we have  many members of the gay community on this forum, doesn't it? Tongue
We had a poll on this a few weeks ago actually. The results were

Straight       57.4%
Gay       25.7%
Bisexual       16.8%

So still mostly straight but definitely a lot more gays than the real world.
