I'm not too famliliar with Ontario outside of Toronto, so I'm going to be a bit biased here
Toronto stikes me as being "just another big North American city". It never did much for me the 4 times I've been there. I mean, it's not
bad, in fact it's a nice city, and I wouldn't mind living there, but it doesn't really compare to places like Chicago or Montreal.
But I have to vote Michigan, for the awesome little resort towns (Mackinac Island, New Buffalo, and Traverse City are some of my favorite places ever), wine country, being our Arsenal of Democracy, and really hospitable people. There's more to Michigan than just Detroit, guys. And Detroit isn't really that bad.
