Remember all those GOP smears against KY Democratic Senate candidate Dan Mongiardo? Limp wristed etc...

They seem to have been proved wrong; Mongiardo is in a relationship with a 19 year old woman (age of consent in KY is something like 14, btw).

Make of that what you will Wink

Hah!  Good for him!  He must be at least in his fourties.
As for the age of consent in KY, I believe it is 16:

This still won't look good on his resume.

It looks a lot better than what Grover Cleveland did.

Well, that Kentucky senate seat is still full of very "interesting" candidates.

I have to say both the prelude, the election itself, and it's aftermath have all been bizzare.

This still won't look good on his resume.

Certainly not in Northern Kentucky Wink

But it won't hurt him in the areas that voted for him; those areas voted for Stumbo in 2003 despite everything.

Funniest part is that she's probably a Republican...article says they met while she was visiting State Sen. Alice Forgy Kerr (who lost that by-election to Ben Chandler) at the state capitol.
Oh, and he says he's looking for the right "girl" to marry. He's 44. If he can get someone young enough to be called a girl, well, he's lucky and all and I don't begrudge him any, but shouldn't he be looking out for a woman?

If Hal Rogers retires it's pretty likely. If not, he'll run for a statewide office in 2007.
