Also interesting:

Q: Do you support or oppose legalizing gay marriage?

21% Support
60% Oppose

Might explain her reluctance on supporting it (before November 2014).

The 2004 Louisiana referendum was 78-22 in favor of banning gay marriage.

PPP's latest poll was 59-29 in favor of a ban.

Hard to say which figure is more likely these days, PPP's or Harper's ...

56% still don't know about Cassidy. Thats going to be the key.

New Orleans was underpolled. Voters from CDs 1 and 2 only made up 25% of the total.

: In an election for United States Senator, who would you prefer to vote for: the Republican
candidate or the Democratic candidate?
Republican 46%
Democrat 40%
Not Sure 14%

We'll see how far that name goes.

Being up by five in a Republican poll is good news for Landrieu and a likely voter poll at that.

Blacks are only 23% of the sample...even in 2010, they made up 27% of the electorate.

This certain Democrat that's up for re-election has a moderate record, and she's known for fighting for Louisiana regardless. For now, being up in a poll by 5 in a Republican poll where blacks and people from New Orleans were undersampled is good news.
