This map is based on polls showing either candidate at 53% or more in the polls, although it ignores the losing per cent in each state.
This is just to give an idea of how many states are potentially competitive. Not that most states would swing in a close election, but
they could easily swing in a landslide either way. Note that Washington state, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Arkansas are no longer swing states.
Although this could change depending on the VP choices. (perhaps Obama-Clinton could win Arkansas?)
